so what i am going to do is :
besides doing this at my own home, i will try and talk to my apartment's residents' association, and get as much participation from the residents. will print out leaflet too to promote the cause.
a friend is also helping me to record the event, and hopefully we'll post it on youtube : )
no need to go on a bigger scale, just do what you can do at home or at your work place- Malaysia ni tau2 la, nak buat candle light vigil nak kena mintak permit lagi, ada FRU la wtf la.
call up ur family, friends, neighbours to participate. if you think you are going to be at work on that day, just do it in the office - but talk to your boss first lah 
but if you are capable of organizing a bigger event at your community, it's much better. BBQ, party,candle light vigil is ok as long as you turn off the light for one hour ; )
the point is, everyone has the opportunity to reduce carbon dioxide emission, so by turning off the light for one hour is the first step
so to all the good people in myspace, please join me on Saturday, 29th March 2008. switch off your light - lampu bilik, lampu toilet, tv, lampu dapur - for one hour, starting from 8pm.
i hope by doing this, you can inspire the people around you to be aware of climate change and global warming.

Kuala Lumpur-based five-piece band, The Eightyfour, is a fierce melting pot of post-hardcore meets punk. The band consists of childhood friends, Dean on lead guitar, Dauz on vocals, Amin on second guitar, Najib the beat knocker, and Abu/Fendi on bass. The band was formed way back in 1998 under various, different names. With several line-up changes due to personal commitment, the line-up ended as it is now. The original members of the band Dean and Amin, met Dauz, Abu and Fendi in year 2000. Together they have chosen the name Eightyfour as their official band name and only in 2004 that the band actually involved actively in the music scene; since each of the members has their own band to concentrate on; Co.Syndrome, Seed, and Crux to name them a few. They recorded their first demo in 2004, with Parken; a Penang lad, became their second vocalist. The demo was not distributed to the scene; it was only given to close friends and followers. Then Parken left the band and with Fendi occupied with work commitments, Najib joined the band while Abu swapping to bass. Together the band cites influences from Underoath, Hopesfall, Billy Talent, Alexisonfire, Glassjaw, Envy and The Fall of Troy. The band played thru a series of gigs in 2005 and 2006 before deciding to have a break for a year. Come 2008, the band decided to get back into the Malaysian music scene with a bang. The band is currently in the studio recording their long awaited debut album. The band has already set the target to capture a bigger audience this time around with the help of some accomplished artist as guest singers in two of the band’s new songs. The album is expected to be angst-fuelled screams with a fair bit of catchy dancehall hooks accompanied with crunching guitars. All in all, The Eightyfour is ready to deliver the beautiful sounds and in your face at the same time. Rock on!

We are BUNKFACE, and here is our story. For your information, all the members in our band are from Klang, Selangor. The first one being Sam(Vocalist and 2nd guitar), then there's Youk( bassist and vocals), Paan( Lead guitar and vocals), and Biak( drums). We formed this band in 2005. We all decided to form a band. From there, we made our first move by entering a show on TV called BLAST OFF!. We didn't win but we gained much experience from it. After that, Bunkface decided to take things to the next level and so, that's where we started to try to make our own songs, and so we did. We had our ups and downs, some songs didn't really came out right as we all expected them to be. With determination and motivation from all the member of Bunkface, we didn't give up but kept on trying. Finally, in December 2007, we released our first EP called ''LESSON OF THE SEASON''. It includes 6 tracks (english) with a taste of pop punk/ alternative/ rock. This first success of ours was a huge relieve.Little by little, we got some offers to do shows and gigs. You can get our EP by coming to our shows. We're selling them for RM1O each. You can see our upcoming shows on our page. So, come and join us and we'll give you a hell of a time. That's BUNKFACE for now. Lastly, let's all support Malaysia's Music Industry.
