| Quote: | Eightyfourcube started as a local art/design collective. Eightyfourcube was established by Art:tech and Sly back in 2003, during our good-old college-days at Ipoh, Perak. We have 7 members in the group; with different abilities and super powers. We were all delivered to the world in 1984! (Except Supernab, and she's the only she). Eightyfourcube means a bunch of 1984-kids living in one ‘cube’. We share our designs and arts, we share our thought and ideas, and we share our laughter and tears. We are basically about friendship and arts.
Eightyfourcube is basically just a group of friends trying to do what they love; creating beautiful things. Our works are mostly visual art, such as illustration, computer graphics, graffiti, murals, paintings, etc. Since 2003, we have been involved in many local exhibitions and events. Interviewed and featured in some local magazines, international magazines, e-magazines, websites and tv programs. We have been reviewed, introduced and supported by few senior designers, local and international forums and websites. We also have collaboration projects with local and overseas artists and well-known brands. We managed to sell quite a number of artworks from our shows; these include printed posters and original artworks. So far the highest price tag that our buyer paid was RM1000 for an A4 sized unframed original illustration. Furthermore, we have our own label called Cube Gear; created totally for our love to t-shirt designs. We design exclusive limited edition t-shirts and so far it has been a success; by having our previous collection sold out in less than 5 hours in an art event last year. We have been working hard to build our reputation over the years and now we can say that we are quite well-known among the local art scene.
All these years we are trying our best to contribute our soul to Eightyfourcube. We do have day jobs, so it’s quite hard for us to give total commitment to our collective. But finally in 2008, Eightyfourcube art collective is registered under SSM as Eightyfourcube Studio Gallery (001753347-m). We are finally doing this full-time. We will have our own place and we are really excited about it. We now have 4 divisions under Eightyfourcube: Eightyfourcube Designs (creative design studio), Rawk Station (music rehearsal studio), Cube:Gear (eightyfourcube merch.), and Creative Gallery (gallery/showroom/store). We are going to launch our studio & gallery anytime soon. Still in renovation progress. So be prepared! > |

im also working on the wiring and lightings and signboard and promos...pfuhhh!
and also, the hardest part, accounting! (serious shit, i failed my accounting subject for 4 times!!) padan muke sape soh bengap matematik~ argh.

after 2 years, today is my last day working as a motion graphic designer at MFX!
it has been a wonderful experience to have the opportunity to work with world class creative people from all over the globe.....
MFX is one of the best post-production house in asia!
